You may not be excited at the idea of starting your closet purge, but trust us – when you open a drawer full of beautiful, organized lingerie (and you know where THE bra that matches EVERYTHING is), life just gets easier. And a little more stylish!

Get ready to take a fresh look at your wardrobe – with practical tips for organising, storing and updating everything from heavy coats… to the latest lace thong.
Spring is synonymous with renewal – and there’s no better time to do a declutter and get your wardrobe organised. With the weather getting warmer, the heavy winter clothes are leaving to make way for spring’s lighter, lighter fabrics. At the same time, it’s the perfect opportunity to organize your underwear drawer so you can easily find what you need and keep it properly organized.

Here are step-by-step instructions and tips to make your wardrobe more functional, clean and enjoyable in your everyday life:

We start with a cleanup

Before you start organizing, do a general clean-up:

  • Take off all the clothes and the underwear from the closet.
  • Keep only what you wear often, fits you and you like.
  • Check for damage: missing buttons, bras that have lost their shape or briefs with worn-out elastic.
  • Donate or recycle what you no longer need.

Tip: If you have clothes you haven’t worn in the last year, it’s very likely you won’t wear them this year. Make room for new favorites!

Store your winter clothes properly

Coats, knitwear and thick pyjamas can be stored until autumn:

  • Use boxes or fabric storage covers.
  • Wash and iron clothes before storing them – this keeps them fresh and prevents fungus or odours.
  • Add a lavender or cedar bag for natural protection from dust and moths.

Categorise your clothes

Your wardrobe will become more functional if you divide your clothes by category:

Time for the underwear drawer

Let’s be honest: for most of us, this is the most “naughty” part of the wardrobe! It’s time to give it the importance it deserves.

  • Step 1: Clean and sort. Throw away any underwear that is worn, worn out or no longer fits you. Only keep the ones you actually wear – and that make you feel good.
  • Step2: Use organisers. Drawer dividers are perfect for keeping your underwear in place. You can find inexpensive solutions or make homemade ones out of paper boxes. Sort your briefs by type: Brazilian, thong, Brazilian, Brazilian, Brazilian, Brazilian, Brazilian, Brazilian, Brazilian, Brazilian, Brazilian. etc. Arrange them vertically so you can see them all at a glance.
  • Step 3: Take care of the bras. Don’t fold them in half – this destroys their shape. Place them open, one behind the other. You can organize them by type: balconette, padded, without an underwire., strapless, sports etc. Keep the bras you wear often in a prominent place and store the more “special” pieces or sets in cloth bags.
  • Step 4: Don’t forget tights, tops and accessories. Wrap them up and store them in small bags or compartments. Bralettes and inner tops can go next to underwear or loungewear if you wear them often and out of the house.

Extra tip: Spring = new beginnings.

If after organizing you see that you are missing some basic pieces, such as a beige bralette, a nudeeveryday bra or some comfortable bottoms, it’s the perfect time to update your collection. Invest in quality lingerie that makes you feel confident every day.
