In 1914 the first modern bra was created, marking a new era in women’s lingerie. Throughout the 20th century, fashion focused on comfort and freedom of movement, with designs becoming increasingly lightweight and practical. Mary Phelps Jacobs, better known as Caresse Crosby, will go down in history as one of the women who, without a doubt, revolutionized the history of women’s fashion to this day.
